An Uncommon Thing… More than Just a Snow Day!—Part 1
In Canada, we are used to the cold and snow… Lots and lots of snow.
However, it has been a very long time since I have seen this much stay on the ground and not just melt away.
When I was driving north to my daughters, it began to snow about halfway along the trip. It was the nice light fluffy kind of snow that we love to see around the holiday season. It just isn’t Christmas without snow… At least enough to cover the green grass is what we hope for.
Anyway, that pretty-to-look-at snow turned nasty in a hurry. It was the first time in many years that I have been behind the wheel driving in the snow.
