Makeup Mistakes—Episode 2
In this episode, I would like to talk about eyebrows. Eyebrows are very important, because they frame your face. If you take away a famous actress’ eyebrows, she will not look the same anymore. So, let’s fill our eyebrows right, ladies!
Mistake three: it’s wrong to think that your eyebrows have to match your hair color! Can you imagine a blonde girl sporting a blonde set of eyebrows? Or, have you ever seen an actress with blonde eyebrows and blonde hair? Your eyebrows should always be 2 shades lighter if you have a darker hair color like brown or black! For lighter hair color—like blonde or red—your eyebrows should be 2 shades darker than your actual hair color!
Mistake four: I’ve heard some women say that shaving or trimming their eyebrows gives them fuller and coarser eyebrows! No, this is absolutely false! Shaving hair doesn’t change its thickness, color or rate of growth. Also, as for plucking your eyebrows, you might lose them permanently if you do this.
Thin and narrow eyebrows used to be “in style”, but what if you want to get fuller brows later down the road!? Do you really want to tattoo your eyebrows permanently and have the same shape forever!? Instead, let us rejoice the fact that we might have unbalanced brows, and shape them by shaving or plucking only the unwanted hair; or, by filling in our eyebrows.
These days we have a lot of women are sporting so called “bushy” eyebrow. A certain famous model was the inspiration where this trend started. She keeps it real by embracing her natural eyebrows.
