【Planning a Trip】

There’s a lot of effort that goes into planning a trip. There are a lot of small aspects that you have to keep in mind and it makes everything seem much more complicated!

Right now, I’m planning a trip to South Korea with my boyfriend to visit my friend who moved there last year. I’ve never been to South Korea before, so I’m very excited to meet new people, try new food, and have new experiences there. She lives on Jeju, which is a small island away from the mainland, so I’ll spend some time there as well as in Seoul.

The first step is to book my plane ticket, which is much more difficult than I imagined. Prices rise, prices drop, there are different flight paths, different layovers – it seems very complicated. I am planning to visit a travel agent for some advice about the best options. Maybe I’ll be able to get a First Class ticket very cheaply – that would be nice!

After I make it to Seoul, I need to book another flight to Jeju. Luckily, this is a short flight so it won’t be very expensive and should be straightforward. We will be staying at my friend’s apartment in Jeju, but we’ll need to book a room in a hostel while we are in Seoul.

And of course, we need to plan all our activities! There’s so much I want to do in Seoul and so many places I want to visit and I’m only there for a short time. I think I’ll be very busy for a few days. Hopefully this week I’ll be able to book my flights and hostel room so I can focus on all the fun things I’ll get to do there.
