It’s Crazy Long
As some of you may know, my hair has a mind of its own. This means that I can’t really control it. I do my best to style it when I can. After I wash my hair, I put in some styling products so it doesn’t get too crazy. By crazy, I mean that it’ll get really curly and won’t look good or it’ll get kind of frizzy and stick out like a sore thumb.
Not only that, but it’s the longest I’ve ever had it. I usually just put it in a ponytail, a bun, or a big chunky braid, especially in the mornings because it’s super easy. However, when I do that, my neck usually gets cold, so I like to let it down.
I know I’m long overdue for a haircut, but there is a reason I’m growing it so long. In a month or two, when I do finally pull the trigger and get it cut, I’ll be donating it. There are a couple of places that take hair donations for wigs. They make the wigs for cancer patients who don’t have any hair.
Unfortunately, it takes a lot of hair just to make one wig, so my donation along with 5 others will be needed. What is nice though, is that it’s really an easy way for me to give back and help out another person. All I have to do is wait and let my hair grow. Of course, it can be hard to have so much hair, especially when I’m not accustomed to it, but that’s nothing.
I hope I can make it until May or June before I really have to cut it all off. I guess we will just have to wait and see. I know I’ll make it to April at least.
Wish me luck! 😉
