【Visiting Toronto – Part 2】

(Contributed by Liz)
If you have already read the first part of this blog you already know 3 of the great places you should visit while you are in Toronto. I’ll go over a couple more places that I’ve seen and can personally tell you it’s worth checking out.

If you like architecture or history you’ll love Casa Loma. This is a beautiful castle on a hill that was built in the early 1900s. There are so many amazing things to discover. There was a secret passage (not sure why this was needed). This is the perfect place to spend a couple hours. You may want to remember to pack a lunch so you can eat it outside in the garden since there is only a deli (sandwich shop) available on sit. If don’t want to pack/bring a lunch you may want to go somewhere else (The deli shop did have much variety).

Another place I like to visit is The Distillery Historic District. This is a cute village surrounded by amazing architecture and fantastic local artists. There are also several cozy cafes and restaurants where you can grab a bite and try one of the favourite local breweries. I really love this village in the summer. The cobblestone and pedestrian-only streets (no cars allowed) give a real European feel. You won’t be disappointed.
Happy White Day and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
