【Uber!】

A lot of new driving app services are popping up, and it looks like TLC (taxi/limousine/commission) wants a piece of that pie. Although Uber is claiming that they do not fall under TLC regulation; TLC does stand to gain quite a considerable amount of money if they are allowed to step in to regulate this innovative driving app. For those of you that are not familiar with Uber, it’s an Iphone application where you can request a ride from an Uber listed driver, and for a cheaper fee you can get a ride to your desired location, allowing people to make money using their car. Of course you pay through the app so there are no complications of people not paying, and people getting ripped off. It’s an innovative idea that has the taxi, and limousine services shaking in their boots. I would actually like to try this out one day just to see how it feels.
