【Kuma】 *要点説明あり

In my last blog, I wrote about my cat, Angel that became an idol character of my class. Besides Angel, I have a Pomeranian/Schipperke mix pup, Kuma.
He became our family member 6 years ago when we casually stopped by at the City of Downey Animal Shelter with no specific plan of adopting any animal. My daughter who was 13 at the time had wanted a puppy so she could actually take them outside for a walk.
Although I love animals, I knew how needy dogs can be so I didn’t have any intention of adopting any whatsoever. But when we got there, we saw this little black furry dude with all nutted dusty hair who kept staring at me each time I pass by with those puppy eyes. I was told that he was abandoned by his owner and there was a possibility of him being used as a “chew toy” to larger dogs such as pit bulls. After seeing him and hearing the possible background of him, I just couldn’t leave him there especially since he only had a week more before he could have been euthanized.
For the first couple weeks since he became a member of our family, he was very nervous, tense, and experienced sleep deprivations. Now it has been 6 years and he is completely a part of this family who loves running on beaches, playing tickle fights, and a lot of cuddling. If you hear some low growing noise during the class, it might be Kuma snoring.
