Most of my blogs have to do with children because I have five and they are always coming up with something that boggles my mind. This morning was no different, during breakfast I had a lesson on colors and their personalities. Yep, once again according to my children, who know everything; just ask them, colors have distinct personalities.
The first color I was given a lesson on is orange. Orange, according to my girls, is social and daring. It is also warm and joyless. As you know It is a mixture of two other colors, who by the way , also have that also have wonderful personalities, more on those later. Orange is connected to a person’s gut reaction or one’s instincts and when needed it orange can offer emotional strength. So if you are going through difficult times wear orange or decorate using it. Apparently there is psychology behind this and they said that orange is positive and inspiring it will revive ones spirit. That I should use it every day even if I just use an orange pen it will help. Orange brings spontaneity and a positive outlook on life and is a great color to use during tough economic times, keeping us motivated and helping us to look on the bright side of life. Supposedly, it will mentally stimulate people and get them to socialize with one another. A downside to this is that orange also stimulates a person’s appetite so if you are on a diet keeps it out of the kitchen or dining area.
In addition, there you are the lesson I received from my two teenage daughters.
